Construction of a competency evaluation index system for tuinatherapy nurses

Objective: To construct a scientific and effectual evaluation index system of position competence in nurses of tuina department, so as to provide reference for standardization of nursing management.
Methods: After consulting literature, semi-structured interview method and Delphi method, a competency evaluation index of nurses in tuina department was built. Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was used to determine the weights of the first and second level indexes, and expert assignment method was used to determine the weights of the third level indexes.
Results: 15 copies of the two rounds of expert letter questionnaires were issued, and the response rate was 100%. The expert authority of the two rounds of consultation was 0.87. The coordination coefficients of all levels were statistically significant(
P<0.05).
Conclusion: The expert opinions for all indicators of the competency evaluation index system are centralized and well-coordinated, and the results are highly reliable. It can be used to guide the evaluation management of clinical nursing staff in similar department.
