The practical application of seminar-CBL mode on interpersonal contact efficacy and communication skills of nursing students

Objective: To explore the construction of seminar-CBL mode and its practical effect on strengthening the interpersonal contact efficacy and nurse-patient communication skills of nursing undergraduates.
Methods: Based on the course of nursing interpersonal communication, 147 nursing undergraduates in the third grade were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group. The control group was taught according to the traditional teaching method, and the observation group was used of seminar-CBL mode. After finished the course, the differences of teaching effects between the two groups were compared.
Results: The observation group was better than the control group in the interpersonal contact efficacy, nurse-patient communication skills, curriculum assessment scores, student satisfaction (
P<0.05).
Conclusion: Seminar-CBL mode can help to improve the interpersonal contact efficacy and communication skills of nursing students.
