The status and influencing factors of post-traumatic growth in parents of children with autism spectrum disorder

孤独症谱系障碍儿童父母创伤后成长现状及影响因素研究

Abstract: Objective: To describe the post-traumatic growth level in parents of children with autism spectrum disorder, and explore the influencing factors from the perspectives of demography, family, and disease, so as to explore the relevant variables which promote the post-traumatic growth of parents. Methods: Convenience sampling method was used and parents of children with autism spectrum disorder who visited the Children′s Behavioral Development Center of a tertiary hospital in Guangzhou were included. The general information questionnaire and the Post Traumatic Growth Rating Scale (PTGI) were used to assess the posttraumatic growth in parents of children with autism spectrum disorder. Univariate analysis and multiple linear regression were used to explore the influencing factors of parental posttraumatic growth of children with autism spectrum disorder. Results: The parental post-traumatic growth score was 58.79±18.92. The scores of each dimension from high to low were life insight, personal strength, self transformation, new possibilities, and relationships with others. The duration of contacting with children was the influencing factor of posttraumatic growth of parents. Conclusion: The post-traumatic growth in parents of children with autism spectrum disorder is in the middle level, and the duration of contacting with children is an important controllable factor for the post-traumatic growth in parents of children with autism spectrum disorder.

摘要: 目的:描述孤独症谱系障碍儿童父母的创伤后成长水平,基于社会、家庭、疾病的视角,挖掘促进儿童父母创伤后成长的相关变量。方法:采用便利抽样法,通过一般资料调查表及创伤后成长评定量表(PTGI)调查广州市某医院儿童行为发育中心就诊的孤独症谱系障碍儿童父母的创伤后成长水平,采用单因素分析及多重线性回归探讨孤独症谱系障碍儿童父母创伤后成长的影响因素。结果:孤独症谱系障碍儿童父母创伤后成长总分为(58.79±18.92)分,各维度得分从高到低依次为人生感悟、个人力量、自我转变、新可能性及与他人的关系。每日与儿童的接触时间是影响父母创伤后成长水平的因素。结论:孤独症谱系障碍儿童父母创伤后成长处于中等水平,每日与儿童的接触时间是父母创伤后成长的重要可控因素。
