Meta-analysis of the incidence of professional burnout among palliative care nurses

安宁疗护护士职业倦怠发生率的 Meta 分析

Abstract: Objective: To analyze the incidence of professional burnout among palliative care nurses and provide reference for prevention and targeted interventions. Methods: Observational studies on the incidence of professional burnout among palliative care nurses providing palliative care services to terminally ill or dying inpatients were systematically searched in English and Chinese databases including PubMed, CINAHL, Web of Science, the Cochrane Library, Google Scholar, CNKI, Wanfang Data, and VIP. The search period was from the inception of the databases to July 31, 2025. Two researchers independently screened all the literature, extracted data, and assessed the quality according to the inclusion criteria. R4.2.1 software was used for meta -analysis of the incidence of professional burnout. Results: A total of 12 articles were included. The meta-analysis results showed that the incidence of emotional exhaustion among palliative care nurses was 26% [95%CI (17%, 35%)], depersonalization was 21% [95%CI (15%, 28%)], and low personal accomplishment was 46% [95%CI (31%, 61%)]. The incidence of high-level professional burnout among palliative care nurses was 11% [95%CI (0, 23%)], and the incidence of moderate-level professional burnout was 67% [95%CI (50%, 84%)]. Conclusion:The incidence of professional burnout among palliative care nurses is relatively high. It is recommended that nursing managers identify palliative care nurses with professional burnout early and implement targeted interventions to enhance their occupational health.

摘要: 目的: 分析安宁疗护护士职业倦怠发生率,为安宁疗护护士职业倦怠预防及干预提供参考。方法: 系统检索 PubMed、CINAHL、Web of Science、the Cochrane Library、Google Scholar、中国知网、万方数据、维普等中英文数据库中有关安宁疗护护士为终末期或临终住院患者提供安宁疗护服务时职业倦怠发生率的观察性研究。检索时限为建库至 2025 年 7 月 31 日。2 名研究人员依据纳入和排除标准独立对文献进行筛选、资料提取及质量评价。采用 R4.2.1 进行职业倦怠发生率的Meta分析。结果:共纳入文献12 篇。Meta分析结果显示,安宁疗护护士情绪耗竭的发生率为 26%[95%CI(17%,35%)]、去人格化发生率为 21%[95%CI(15%,28%)]、低个人成就感发生率为 46%[95%CI(31%,61%)];安宁疗护护士高度职业倦怠发生率为 11%[95%CI(0,23%)]、中度职业倦怠发生率为 67%[95%CI(50%,84%)。结论:安宁疗护护士职业倦怠发生率较高,建议应早期识别职业倦怠的安宁疗护护士,开展针对性的职业倦怠干预策略,以提升安宁疗护护士的职业健康。
