Application of workshop combined with PBL teaching method in death education for undergraduate nursing intern in emergency department

工作坊联合 PBL 教学法在急诊科本科实习护生死亡教育中的应用

Abstract: Objective: To explore the effect of the workshop combined with PBL teaching method in death education for undergraduate nursing intern in emergency department. Methods: The convenience sampling method was used to select nursing interns as research subjects in the emergency department of a certain tertiary grade A hospital from 1 September 2022 to 30 May 2023. Among them, the control group (n=63) watched traditional death education videos, while the observation group (n=52) received death education through a workshop combined with PBL teaching method. Compare the death attitude scores of the two groups of undergraduate nursing interns, and use the Colaizzi analysis method to analyze the reflection diary of the nursing students after training to evaluate the teaching effect. Results: Before the training, the scores of the“approach acceptance”dimension in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). After the training, the score of the“approach acceptance”dimension in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). After the training, the score of the“avoidance death”dimension in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Four themes were extracted from the reflection diary, including enhancing human empathy, promoting adaptation to clinical practice, strengthening professional responsibility, reinforcing the awareness of life, and facilitating the transformation of healthy behavors. Conclusion: The death education teaching based on workshop combined with PBL helps emergency undergraduate nursing interns gradually accept death events, cultivate the humanistic care ability, and enhance their professional responsibility and sense of mission.

摘要: 目的:探讨工作坊联合 PBL 教学法在急诊科本科实习护生死亡教育的应用效果。方法:采用便利抽样法,选取 2022 年 9 月 1 日至 2023 年 5 月 30 日于某三级甲等医院急诊科实习的本科护生作为研究对象,其中对照组(n=63)观看传统死亡教育视频,观察组(n=52)通过工作坊联合 PBL 教学法进行死亡教育。比较两组实习护生的死亡态度评分,并采用 Colaizzi 7 步分析法分析培训后实习护生的反思日记以评价教学效果。结果:培训前观察组趋近接受维度得分低于对照组(P<0.05),培训后观察组趋近接受维度得分高于对照组(P<0.05)。培训后观察组死亡逃避维度得分高于对照组(P<0.05)。从反思日记中提炼出提升人文共情能力; 促进适应临床实习;增强职业责任感;强化生命意识,促进健康行为转换 4 个主题。结论:工作坊联合 PBL 教学法的死亡教育有助于急诊本科实习护生逐渐接受死亡事件,培养实习护生的人文关怀能力,增强其职业责任感与使命感。
