Abstract: Objective: To explore the effect of informationized mode of blood glucose management in perioperative patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods:300 patients with type 2 diabetes who planned to undergo elective surgery were randomly divided into observation group (n=150) and control group (n=150). The patients of control group were given the conventional management of blood glucose monitoring, and the patients in the other group were given informationized management mode. The control rate of blood glucose in perioperative patients during hospitalization, the accuracy of blood glucose monitoring, the consultation rate of diabetes specialist nurses and the score of diabetes related knowledge of admitted and discharged patients were evaluated. Results:The control rate, the accuracy of monitoring, the consultation rate and the score of knowledge were higher than those of the control group (P<0.01).Conclusion:The informationized mode based on the information glucose management system(IGMS) which is easy to practical can effectively ensure the quality of specialized nursing for perioperative patients with type 2 diabetes.
