Abstract: Objective: To explore the effect of kangaroo nursing on breast feeding, feeding intolerance, weight growth rate and hospitalization cost of premature infants with noninvasive ventilator during hospitalization. Methods: From August 2019 to August 2020, 60 premature infants were selected as the research objects. The control group received routine development support nursing, while the intervention group received kangaroo nursing on the basis of routine development support nursing. Results: The proportion of breast feeding and pure breast feeding rate of the intervention group were higher than those of the control group, the incidence of feeding intolerance of the intervention group was lower than that of the control group, and the average daily weight growth rate of the intervention group was higher than the control group. At the same time, the hospitalization time of premature infants using noninvasive ventilator in the intervention group days was shorter than that in the control group , and the hospitalization cost was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Kangaroo nursing can improve the proportion of breast feeding and pure breast feeding rate of preterm infants with noninvasive ventilator during hospitalization, reduce the incidence of feeding intolerance and improve the rate of recovery to birth weight. It can shorten the length of hospital stay and save hospitalization cost.
