Abstract:

Objective: To understand the current situation of discharge guidance in liver cancer patients and provide reference for further improving the quality. Methods: 184 cases of postoperative patients with liver cancer in a tertiary A hospital in Shanghai were selected by convenience sampling method and investigated by general information questionnaire and discharge guidance quality scale. Results: The total score of discharge guidance quality was 149.58 ± 25.09, the score of need content was 37.48±17.66, the score of obtained content was 43.70 ± 11.88, and the score of guidance skill and effect dimension was 105.88±15.83. The differences were statistically significant in discharge guidance quality between patients with and without discomfort symptoms, and between patients with different duration of postoperative stay（P<0.05）. Conclusion: The content of discharge guidance after liver cancer operation can basically meet the needs of patients and their families. However, the content of discharge guidance still needs to be enriched, and the skills and effects still need to be improved. According to the main affecting factors，we should take corresponding measures to improve the quality of discharge guidance.
