Abstract: Objective: To investigate and analyze the latent profiles and influencing factors of exercise rehabilitation beliefs in patients after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for coronary heart disease. Methods: A convenience sampling method was adopted to recruit patients who underwent PCI for coronary heart disease and were admitted to a tertiary grade A hospital between January 1, 2024 and August 31, 2024. Data were collected using a general information questionnaire, the Exercise Rehabilitation Beliefs Questionnaire for Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome After PCI, and the Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale. Latent profile analysis (LPA) was performed to identify distinct profiles, and univariate analysis followed by multivariate logistic regression analysis was conducted to examine the influencing factors associated with different latent profiles. Results: The total score of exercise rehabilitation beliefs among 203 patients after PCI for coronary heart disease was 123.05 ± 15.84. Latent profile analysis identified three latent classes, including low belief group (32.02%), moderate belief group (42.36%), and high belief-low efficacy group (25.62%). Educational level, average monthly household income, and exercise self-efficacy score were influencing factors of latent profiles of exercise rehabilitation beliefs in patients after PCI for coronary heart disease (P<0.05). Conclusion: The level of exercise rehabilitation beliefs among patients after PCI for coronary heart disease is moderate. This finding suggests that healthcare providers should develop and implement targeted intervention strategies based on the influencing factors associated with different latent profiles, in order to enhance exercise rehabilitation beliefs in this patient population.
