Objective: To understand the service experience for changing the mind of low-risk primiparas who had intended to have caesarean section in the first service in antenatal clinic in order to provide evidence for the development of midwifery clinic. Methods: By qualitative research method, 16 primiparas in a midwifery clinic were interviewed in depth, and data were analyzed with phenomenological method. Results: 4 aspects for low-risk primiparas who had intended to have caesarean section in the first visiting were extracted: the change of intention to delivery mode; the objective recognition of labor pain and effective psychological construction of primiparas; the service contents in the clinic were pluralistic, long-span, one-to-one communication；improving their ability to handle labor. Conclusion: Participation in the antenatal clinic can change intention to delivery mode of low-risk primiparas, increase their confidence in vaginal delivery and improve their ability to handle labor and provide the positive experience of delivery.
