Objective: To investigate the level of general well-being in postoperative patients with lung cancer in Qianbei, Guizhou Province, and to explore the influencing factors. Methods: A total of 325 patients with pathological diagnosis of lung cancer after parallel surgery were included as the study subjects. The general information questionnaire, general wellbeing and the psychological resilience scale were used in the investigation. Results: The score of general well-being of patients with lung cancer was 66.93±14.90. The total score and dimensions of general well-being were positively correlated with the dimensiens of psychological resilience（P＜0.01）. Resilience，self-improvement，optimism，and positive psychological qualities，as well as family income level，were predictive factors for general well-being of lung cancer patients after surgery.Conclusion: The level of general well-being of postoperative patients with lung cancer in Qianbei was low and was mainly influenced by patients’psychological resilience and family income level. The patients with higher psychological resilience and family income had higher level of general well-being.
