Abstract: Objective: To investigate and analyze the status quo and influencing factors of family caregivers’ readiness for malignant tumor patients, so as to improve the quality of caregivers for malignant tumor patients. Methods: A total of 160 family caregivers of malignant tumor patients hospitalized from April to July 2018 were selected as the research subjects. The general data questionnaire and caregiver readiness scale were used to investigate the status quo. Results: The total score of caregivers’ readiness for malignant tumor patients was（14.03±2.58）, and there was still much room for improvement. Multivariate linear regression analysis showed that caregivers’ age, relationship with patients, personal monthly income, patients’ educational level and awareness of disease were the influencing factors of caregivers’ readiness for family care (P<0.05). Conclusion: Personalized intervention and guidance should be given according to the specific conditions of patients and caregivers in order to improve the quality of care and promote health of patients with malignant tumors.
