Abstract:

 Objective：To investigate the level of care burden and influencing factors of the main caregivers of children with retinoblastoma(RB). Methods：The general information questionnaire，Zarit Caregiver Burden Scale(ZBI) and Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS) were used to investigate the main caregivers of 180 children with retinoblastoma.Results：The total score of care burden and social support of primary caregivers of children with retinoblastoma was 44.37±14.27 and 36.62±7.69. The results of regression analysis showed that age, duration of disease treatment, caring time of primary caregivers, working status, payment method and social support were the main factors affecting the care burden of primary caregivers, explaining 45.3% of the variation in care burden. Conclusion：The care burden of primary caregivers of children with retinoblastoma is at a heavy level. It is suggested that nurses take active coping methods to help reduce the care burden and improve the care quality.
