Abstract: Objective: To investigate and understand the current status of stoma self-care ability of patients with temporary ileostomy and analyze its influencing factors, so as to provide reference for clinical formulation of targeted nursing measures. Methods: Convenient sampling method was used to survey 177 patients with temporary ileostomy using general information questionnaire and self-care scale for stoma patients. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of stoma self-care ability. Results: The score of self-care ability of patients with temporary ileostomy was 36.10±10.54. The regression analysis showed that self-care ability, marital status, per capita family monthly income and age were the factors affecting the self-care level of patients with temporary ileostomy. Conclusion: The self-care ability of patients with temporary ileostomy needs to be improved. Nursing staff should pay attention to the patients who are unmarried, have low self-care ability, low per capita family income and old age, take corresponding measures to improve the self-care level of stoma patients.
