Abstract:

Objective: To visualize and analyze the researches on sleep disorders in patients with Parkinson disease both domestically and internationally, and summarize the hotspots and frontiers in this field. Methods: China Knowledge Network, Wanfang and Web of Science databases were retrieved from the inception of databases to August 18, 2022. The CiteSpace was used to visualize and analyze the core strength and distribution of the included literature and keywords. Results: A total of 2 761 articles were included, and the author with the largest number of publications was Liu Chunfeng. The largest number of articles in English language institutions was published by King’s College London, UK, and Beijing Tiantan Hospital topped the list of Chinese literature. The focus of attention in this field was mainly around physiological mechanisms such as Parkinson disease, sleep types, depression, Chinese medicine techniques, molecular biology, basic research, etc. Conclusion: The field related to sleep disorders in Parkinson disease has received attention from scholars both domestically and internationally, but cooperation among domestic institutions is still less than abroad. It is suggested that domestic institutions should carry out extensive and close cooperation and exchange, establish a resource platform, meet the health management needs of patients with the advantage of multidisciplinary cooperation, and continuously standardize and improve the process of techniques and nursing interventions to provide reference for improving intervention studies on sleep disorders in Parkinson disease.
